Very nice, Andre. You might be interested in my "Fish for breakfast" in my portfolio. I think you did a better job of keeping the head in focus than I did. For my shot, the egret was at a bit of an angle, and was moving his head a bit. Plus, I had to contend with some reeds between me and the bird - your shot is very clean.
Do you recall the aperture and shutter speed you used?
