This is really nice, I like the reflections and the contrast in the picture.

andy, this is very nice, love the tones, and the reflections. I can't help but think though that there is a tilt going on - maybe its just me :)

Marc Robin   {K:3385} 6/28/2002
I agree about the tilt. But overall, i love this one. I especially like the ducks in the middle of the pond!
Cheers, Marc

I love Balboa Park at night. Well done.

nice...the ducks are a really cool touch..

the tilt ..looks like an illusion, because of the left side being more illuminated..

This building gets photographed a lot. This is a very nice interpretation.

(BTW, the apparent tilt isn't the lighting, but rather that the building on the left is taller.)

the apparent tilt isn't the lighting, but rather that the building on the left is taller --> then wouldnt it look tilted to the right?

i thought it looked tilted to the left

Beautiful!

Balboa Park San Diego, right? And a really fine capture, too! Very nice.

Another oustanding shot. At first I assumed you had used a view camera because of the precision of the vertical lines. Compositionally it's a great example of broken symmetry. The reflection in the pool almost identical to the building. The left hand side of the building almost but not quite exactly the same as the right. Thanks for posting.

Andy, this is simply wonderful. In the past I often roamed the same location at night, but haven't done so in a long time. Now I think it is time to start up again. Thanks for the inspiration.
