Marty, I like this image much better than the other, it shows passion I think. At the risk of being blunt, I just found the other one "odd", but just my opinion.

Yes I agree, this is much nicer. Black material on a black background, very hard to do well but you got it nicely. The black dress looks very nice and rich, excellent exposure.

Just a nit, but perhaps a little more fill on her right face (camera left), from the smallness of the image it looks like she has a black eye instead of a shadow area.

Keep them coming.

I like the lighting in this one Marty. The texture of the skirt and the shadows work well.
