Yes.

Frans Rewijk   {K:72} 7/28/2003
Not really my cup of thea. Pretty clear that this is a digitally altered image. Doesn't look natural. Nontheless, composition and lighting are excellent!

Marion Luijten   {K:6172} 7/28/2003
Yes, Jim it does! It's like I'm flying next to that eagle...
the details of the eagle are excellent!
there's only one little thing: I think the water above the eagle's head is a bit too overexposed.
But a great image again, Jim.
:)

Taking a little break and look what has appeared! This is wonderful Jim. One of my favorite of your composites. You have created a great sense of depth and mood. In a way this seems to link the nautical with the medieval side of your work...

Karen Siebert   {K:12076} 7/28/2003
Jim, the color and merging are wonderful. Very clever and neat idea. The idea of the eagle flying does not really work for me. I am not quite sure why. One issue is his size, in relation to the boat, I believe he is too large. I am wondering how a smaller version that included at least one wing would do. The light and the color of the image is fantastic IMO. I really believe it is the size of the eagle that throws it off for me.

By the way, Jim - Have a great time in Mexico and I will get with you next week with my questions. Thanks for your time.

Well... I suppose I could just say yes... But the eagle seems to enjoy the not-only-an-illusion of being flighted in that golden thing... So much in fact ! I had to say it ! But it's probably just me !!!!!!!!!!!
???

to the see, fly like an eagle - fave...not a critical bone in my body today - sorry...

atilla van   {K:254} 7/28/2003
Be sure it really works.I agree with Marion's opinion about the overexposed area above the eagles head.I liked this work.

Yutaka Itinose   {K:21359} 7/28/2003
Excellent! Beautiful photoart! Nice!

Anna    {K:2994} 7/28/2003
Color, texture and composition are excellent... but somehow, looking at the eagle, I must agree with Karen. Have a good trip, Jim.

In Transit   {K:29394} 7/28/2003
Firstly again... your filing system or is it the ability to find the right shoe box... is quite... no it is astonishingly impressive... as is this composition!

Craig Garland   {K:27077} 7/28/2003
Wow! I can't believe your PS skills-- great combination!

Naty Z   {K:16486} 7/28/2003

I like the detail and the sepia tone, but I have to agree with Karen and Anna too, have a nice trip - Richard.

Kristina Kohut   {K:49990} 7/29/2003
Wow! What a fantastic image! A little bit strong light on top, but besides that just so excellent! Feels in a way like if I would sit on another eagle next to this one, and seeing the same view as this eagle.

evreniz e.   {K:5484} 7/29/2003
Yes Jim, absolutely excellent.. also the tones are amazing.. bravo.

Regards, Murat.

Mari Mar   {K:11417} 7/29/2003

Igor L.   {K:7432} 7/29/2003
Wonderful work, Jim, as usual!

Carol Watson   {K:5185} 7/29/2003
I really like the colors, textues and toning - it's consistent with what's becoming your "signature style". What's missing for me? The one thing that would pull me fully and completely into the flight is a wing... or even part of a wing - that would have made this perfect!

Dave M   {K:9043} 7/29/2003
STUNNING!

Dave M   {K:9043} 7/29/2003
(Jim, I see a faint line beneath the eagle's neck on the water - perhaps something left over from the composite work?)

Roger Cotgreave   {K:15892} 7/29/2003
beauty Jim, like a shamanic trip I took once..regards roger

G C   {K:12204} 7/30/2003
I like it! It's probably not possible as an original image, and maybe the techies would find some way to criticize it, but, as an image it works for me - actually puts me into a little fantasy of being above the eagle's wing. Cheers!

Gregory Fiedler   {K:15439} 7/30/2003
Powerful image Jim, so well done!

Jim McNitt   {K:11246} 7/30/2003
Dave:
You got an eagle-eye! I noticed it too. But, of course, not until after uploading. Thanks.

Carol Cefalu   {K:7585} 8/3/2003
Yes the shadows creating separation/depth between the subjects is undeniable... i love it its a birds eyes view thats done expertly!

Leslie Cohelan   {K:20887} 8/13/2003
Boy it sure does work...excellent feel of being up with the eagle...wonderful work

Mark Drago   {K:10902} 8/20/2003
