beautiful momment

Michael Grace-Martin   {K:10263} 8/1/2003
Great capture of a touching moment! I would say that just a tinge less DOF would make this even better. Congrats..:)

Hakan Aker   {K:14146} 8/1/2003
Very nice black and white shot M.my best regards to you,Hakan.

Leslie Cohelan   {K:20887} 8/1/2003
The composition is very good but I agree that a bit less dof would be effective...very good tones and contrast and a wonderful expression well captured

I have to agree with both of you on the DOF, Leslie & Michael. Thank you all for your comments and suggestions.

Excellent b/w, your taste is infallible. Thank you for your clever and understanding comment on my Violin teacher. I'll go thru your works (which already look impressive as thumbnails) later.
Regards, Maxim

There's a certain expressiveness here that is so compelling. Technically, you nailed this street shot, but there's so much more here than that. Love the posture, and the expression on his face. It is almost as much about what is happening outside the frame as within the frame, but the information provided tells us all we need to know. A terrific photo.
