that is quite a bit of nature all rolled into one image...from my point it appears to be a tree or tree roots wrapped around rocks (?)I see a lot of texture that could be brought out just a bit more...the sky is blown out and it does distract...you micht consider cropping it out just below the curve of the tree...i don't think it would spoil the composition at all...

PS: yes these are the roots of a tree, that grows in a beautiful Hacienda in Muna Yucatán.
