About Thanks to everyone who commented on the "Heaven" and "Eagle" uploads. I will reciprocate soon, but I'm travelling in Mexico at the moment and it's a bit dicey getting online......... Took this one yesterday with the Nikon 990 in an underwater case and couldn't help but think of at least four USEFILM amigos who might find it interesting, so I'll try uploading. Strangely, no PS except cropping and curves adjustment. The reflection is from shooting underwater toward the surface. Best -Jim

WOW! This is incredibly beautiful, Jim. A stunning, natural abstract with terrific color, tone, and composition. And how great that you can be there in Mexico and share these wonders with us... Have a terrific time and keep sharing these beauties when you can... Hasta la vista and Aloha, GP.

He surfaced!

This is amazing, very vibrant colour and you have PS with you! Too cool. :) Have a great rest of your vacation. :)

Wonderful rich colors -- love the red against the teal blue! You shot this at a very interesting angle that had me cocking my head -- it's rare that the reflection part is at the top. On a very minor note, the composition seems just a tad bit "top heavy". How cool that you're posting from Mexico! Mucho gracias, el Norte Americano gringo! Take it easy on the tequila...*hic*

Marion Luijten   {K:6172} 8/3/2003
The angle is of course very special, giving an interesting reflection.
Bright colors in an unusual combination makes this image pop out.
I took the liberty to crop it differently, making the composition more balanced - just my opinion of course, Jim!
Thank you for thinking of us here at Usefilm and have a great time in Mexico. :)

The thumbnail simply does not do this image justice, Jim. Incredibly sharp and detailed. Well done.

Ronny Van Eeckhoutte   {K:12734} 8/3/2003
This is a great example of having a great eye.
Have a great vacation,regards Ronny

Jim; this is an amazing photo, especially since it was shot from under water. I don't think I've ever seen this sort of thing done before-- very original, and beautiful too. The colors, sharpness, and composition are excellent even if it had been taken out of water.

Carol Cefalu   {K:7585} 8/3/2003
Outstanding once again Jim! I love the odd angle, and the fact that you have not cropped it yet seems to make it all the more impresive in my eyes...

Your list of credits says it all. Fabulous image! Rich, vibrant colours and a great twist on the usual kind of reflection shots.
Excellent work, Jim.
