Great shot and composition ! The D30 seems to be more suitable for IR compared to the 10D. I didn't succeed so far...

yes, the D30 is about 3 f-stops more IR sensitive as the 10D ... you'll have to raise the ISO to avoid too long shutter speeds. Check the Canon SLR forum at www.dpreview.com for further info.
