The composition is OK, ,nice use of the tree as frraming, but the photo lacks greater impact. Maybe getting closer to the statue would do it. Nice photo.

Very nice photo,Doyle, with all that beautiful summer colours of flowers, plants and trees of course. It is obvious that you wanted to incorporate the fountain in the background, what is very important to show the beauty of the garden.

Paulo:
While it needs greater impact . . . I think the angle, rather than a closer view of the statue might have been the answer. Actually, the use of the tree as framing could be improved by a slight change in the angle . . . hmmmm . . . I may have to go back.

Doyle I

Thanks . . . always nice to hear from you. The grapes in this garden, as well as some of the equipment are the original ones from over 300 years ago! The garden is quite lovely in a wildflower kind of look . . . not like a formal garden. The overall beauty was the point of this capture.

This is a very nice photo. Perhaps just a little darker. But most eye catching.

Thanks. Now that I have a bit more experience I may have to travel back to this Mission. It's very photogenic.
