Very nice composition, with the DOF giving a very nice perspective. The path climbing to the house behind the trees is very appealling. A pity for the badly overexposed sky, though. Is it me or is there a slight red cast to the picture?

I think that the trees in front are distracting the focus. My focus would be on the road, and I cannot see it. ???

Quello sovraesposto non e' il cielo...ma le montagne che c'erano dietro (molto dietro) alla casa. In ogni caso, non si vedevano per via della "nebbiolona". D'altro canto, ho dovuto cercare un compromesso per mantenere un certo dettaglio sui pini in primo piano in modo da esaltare l'effetto nebbia sullo sfondo.
Per quanto riguarda la dominante rossiccia e' forse un difetto del fotolab che non e' stato alterato nella successiva fase di post-produzione se non da un leggerissimo aumento di saturazione con PS.

The trees in the foreground, together with the focus pointed on them, in my intention, are the only keys that enhance the effect given by the mist. So, IMHO, removing them, using a higher DOF or focusing on the grayed out road, would just flatten the shot and this wasn't my intention.
