darkness works well here, but the thumbnail may hurt your "hit rate', as its hard to see anything..hope for your usefilm regulars to see this beautiful, subtle image. One side comment, more DOF, would really help this image be even better.

flowers remind me of graves anyway, so its nice to see some dead ones in a vase for a change, a bit ironic, infact, i could possibly live with these flowers in my hose, for a while, maybe. (how did u get them to keep so still for you for all that time??)

powerful, wonderful, luscious jeweled colors..don't know how you do it, don't care..like a divine spirit, i accept on faith. Beyond all of it, what i like is the balance in your composition and the spot of light that lingers on each fading blossom so patiently and tolerantly. i hope the light lingers on me in such a way when it is my turn to depart. regards: kat~

I see only now this great opera!
I'm a SL66 user too and I love to see other photographer using my same tolls in a so creative way
This is a really nice example of mixure between photo and "paint"!
