About caught someone scrambling among the rocks... People are asking where this is?? It's the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs... and yes, that boy is standing under that rock. I took the picture more for the composition than exposure. It was a really badly lit time of day. I will go back and shoot it again when the light is better.. thanks

Wonderful shot of the gigantic boulders constricting the road. The human figure not only provides scale to the rock it also makes you feel apprehensive - What if it rolls on that fellow. well done.

You should have given some details of the place.

Love the composition and the low angle from which you shot this! I really like this kind of contrast of natural and man-made elements, and the figure at left adds a cool accent and a little sense of mystery. The colors look a little flat to me, overall, with a kind of grayish haze over the red rocks.

Great composition Marcel.
I like so much the perspective of the yellow lines which take my eyes to the infinity....
Very elegant the shapes of the rocks...
I'm waiting for your next shot!

Ahhhh how ironic I'm drawn to this picture to comment then look at your portfolio and realise I've already see your work before. It's that low angle shot again - I told you I liked them!

This is peachy. Even if the light is flat the composition is bold and colourful and more than makes up for it. A top class sun set at the roads end would upgrade this to 'perfection' standard but I'm pleased you took the shit and feel it's given great reward.

The sharpness isn't as great and this becomes more apparent on the rocks. None the less great capture. I'm appreciating the scale!

Rgds,

Matt

PS - Like the story too.
