Ah dear dear Murat!!! all your phogographs are full of emotions and messages. You capture so well the style life of your town. very interesting point of view. and I am learing so much from you. Would crop a little bit of the left side. to the window, for better focus on the seeting boy and grandmother. Kiss

Murat Günaydın!
Ankara'dan selamlar...Bizim renklilerin teknik detaylarında film hanesindeki FP4 yerine Kodak Ektacrom yazılacak.Bu arada yine boy durmamıysın.Penceredeki oyuncak çok hoy bir hava katmıy.Konuyu çok geniy almıysın gibi geldi.Mekanı anlatmak derdinden olsa gerk.Yoksa teleylemi çektin.Ewer öyleyse böyle durumlarda yakınlaymalısın.Yada dowallıwı bozmak istemiyorsan photoshop'ta halledersin.Bu fotowraf tan ben 3 fotowraf çıkardım.Bakalım bir dene nasıl olacak?

2Biliana:

Thank you very much your comment about my photograph.. I thought a lot on this last night: cropping from left, or not.. And at last i decided to keep the original view of this shot. Because, i would like to give the depth of view to viewer.. I would like to able to say "they are sitting on a corner of an empty street". Yes you know i hate to make explain about my shot, but this is not an emotional explanation, this is just about thecnique isn't it? :)) I'll attach a cropped version of this shot to this message, through your and Aykan Ozener's suggestions, take a look at this one and tell me your idea please.

2Aykan Ozener:

Hocam sagolun, Ankara filan dinlemiyor hic kacirmiyorsunuz, cok tesekkürler.

Selamlar, Murat.

Richard Blount   {K:9145} 8/17/2003
I love your technique for creating these lovely images, the slightly desaturated colours are wonderful, I like the detail and composition of this one, the house and surroundings to me tell a story that is lost in the crop, great work - Richard.

MaryBell    {K:32791} 8/17/2003
Murat,

the connection between generations, young and old, the need to not be alone, the need to connect verbally, emotionally, intellectually, spiritually...

for a while...

Mary

Patricia Eifel   {K:5097} 8/17/2003
Very, very fine image with so many great elements--the relationship captured between the boy and the woman, the childish cock of his feet, the bicycle close at hand, and the details in the window (including the whimsical doll). I think the left edge could be cropped off to remove the partial window which tends to draw the eye away from the central figures. However, this is an excellent capture and a very well-executed photograph.

Petros Stamatakos   {K:12101} 8/17/2003
This could have been me and my Grandmother quite a few years back...

Yet an other lovely image from you Murat! I really do hope you pursue this type of photography, and make it your own personal style.

Keep posting :-)
