Titia, I suppose your "metaphysics of art" are presented in the "grain" or "noise" which is characteristic of the images in the scene. Still, it seems to me that your composition would be improved if the weeping willow tree were slightly less prominent, and if the "sheltered" area under the tree had just a little more lighting, to more clearly dramatize what is being "sheltered." Thanks for your image!

The composition and the concept work for me. I like how well hidden, or sheltered, the small boat is. I wonder though if the grainy or noisy effect amplifies the idea.
