What a cool idea! And I thought the ovation was for the little fly (bee) buzzing around the flowers. I like it very much. Regards,
~Ursula

Great idea, good composition, excellent pic!

Richard Blount   {K:9145} 8/20/2003
I like this very much Jim, but may I suggest getting rid of the black outline around a couple of the leaves in the front, I think it would improve the image a lot. The lighting effect is wonderful and I have to admire you for coming up with these endless creative ideas, well done - Richard.

MaryBell    {K:32791} 8/20/2003
there is a floating - watery sensation here - interesting comment on the lives of flowers when we get obsessive about our images!!

Craig Garland   {K:27077} 8/20/2003
Really nice take Jim! I like the subject, colors, and composition. "Coneflowers in the Spotlight"? and also mu idea of doing a "stage" photo too. By including the long stems and leaves, you've taken this out of the ordinary.

Chris Spracklen   {K:32552} 8/20/2003
Love it, Jim! Top class imagery-pokery!
Regards, Chris.

That bird is a tough act to follow but already another neat idea!

Your comment on my last drove me over the edge. I have been irritated that I couldn't remember the location of that photo for a year now. Tonight, I finally scrutinized the roll and my Plan de Paris---seems to have been the R. du Bourg-Tibourg, passed along an afternoon walk from St. Paul to Les Halles.
