Mark,
Beautiful cat portrait. I have 2 cats and have tried to shhot them with the only lens I have (28-135mm) but it's too close and they always walk off or play up in some way shape or form. You've done a sterling job here, light is good, blured background, nice composition and most of all you feel the deep file of his fur - great.

I can never resist a kitty photo and this one is super! Bob is a very good model. I can't help but think about your comment on trying to get a shot of the mountain lion. Well, perhaps Bob can substitute for now? Super lighting and details. I love the angle of this. You have gotten all the good features, but made it really interesting. Great job!

Composition and colors are excellent...detail in the fur is well captured and the dof is perfect...i love the tight crop...you can tell he is relaxed...expect him to close his eyes any minute...really is a beautiful cat
