About At the end of the "Road to Hana" Visitors often stop here for a nice view and even to cool off. Some, even jump off the bridge to a tiny pool below. Nuts, I say! I used the wide angle lens here to capture the entire scene rather than focus on the falls only. Any comments are always appreciated. Aloha.

Liked the idea to position the course of the river in the diagonal creantin an intersting vanishing point. The vivid green tones produced by the fantastic velvia is another plus here. Personaly I don't like the white sky in the top but I think if you have cropped you will loose some interstings things in the scene and this is a kind of photo that you must have a cloud day to get all the information in the scene. One thing that I think you could remove in photoshop is the blue cast in the rocks, something that you easily coud fix with selective colors and color balance making before a selection in that parts, or using a warmpolarizer whent getting the image. Anyway a gorgeous photo.

This is an excellent post card / tourism poster quality image. Love those range of colors and and dense feel of everyting. I also feel the white sky is bit of kill, but i guess thats due to the overcast than the over exposure (correct me if im wrong.) I love the wide angle view. Great job.

Elangs.

This doesn't scream "tropical" to me... I agree about the white sky (although even Hawaii has overcast days now and then) and the colours seem very, well, normal. Still some excellent framing with the greenery framing the waterfalls.
I finally bought a camera! An F80 with money left over to get the Tokina 19-35 and some accessoires. Thanks for all your help, and hopefully in a few years I'll be buying a F100 for my main camera!
