incredible! how old are they? do you mean they are physically joint?

please do post pictures of them, as they grow...

Doyle D. Chastain   {K:99839} 8/24/2003
No - Emotionally bonded . . . I have raised others successfully. Hand feeding makes them bond (emotionally) to people very well.

Very sweety,Nice photo

Mark Beltran   {K:32612} 8/25/2003
Very interesting and appealing. It's their eyes that make them so endearing.

Robin McAulay   {K:8908} 8/25/2003

Very intersting photo of baby birds, they look so helpless without their beautiful feather ,they are probbaly of various vivid colours..Very cute photo.
Kind regards
Meldijana

Meldi:
These little boys have sprouted feathers of green, yellow, white and blue. The striking color is the blue. At the time of the photo, they were helpless, indeed. They needed to be hand fed. Thanks for the comments,
Yours,
Doyle I

They are so interesting and cute, and really more beautiful with their feather,as all birds I suppose.Thank you Doyle for your explanation.I had opportunity to see baby pigeons,(pigeons like to come at our balcony ,especially in the winter time,my Mom gave them seeds, but they were usually fed by their parents for a quite period).
Best regards
Meldijana

Wait till they (and their beaks get bigger). Then they look nicer but can truly be scary!

Wow . . . they stay there year round? Through the snowy winter? It's a great and rare experience to be able to see an egg hatch and watch a bird grow until he can fly off.

A face only a mother could love, huh? Almost only the people who hand-feed these babies ever refer to them as cute . . . most people think eeeeew.

This is so sweet. What parrots are they African Greys? I have one he is a wonderful friend.IMHO did you consider a crop to focuss on their tiny perfection.

Doyle D. Chastain   {K:99839} 3/28/2006
Alison:
Thanks for the thoughtful comment . . . a crop would have been better but this image was captured years ago before I was able to improve my skills thanks largely to Usefilm and to comments like yours. To do it over again, I would do a few things differently . . . but it's all about learning and improving . . . something each of us can do. While we did have an African Gray, these guys are Pacific Parrotlets, the world's smallest parrots. . . and thanks again for the suggestion. Your example says it all!

So ugly they are CUTE!! These tiny, innocent little things!! And these little things grow into such independant, bossy critters......they are amazing pets, very NEAT image! Lori :)

Doyle D. Chastain   {K:99839} 4/11/2006
Thanks Lori! Well, that seals it! I've been told only a true bird person could look at these guys and refer to them as cute. Maybe so. But we bird people know what these little guys can become!

Hi Doyle! Dived into your PF and 2003 as we were talking about old shots yesterday. This one caught my immediate attention. Like Lori said: so ugly they are cute

Doyle D. Chastain   {K:99839} 1/31/2007
Thanks Elisa . . . I think that's how most people react . . . Uhhhhhh . . . except for they're cute! LoL! Mostly just Eeeeeeew!
