About This is a small pier on a beach in Guernsey labelled by many an 'eyesore'. I had real problems making it look as good as the slide (I'd scanned a bad print made from the slide), I didn't quite manage it but brought it back a little closer to the original image.

My question is, do you think I should crop from the top to eliminate the sky? I've tried it and can't decide which is better. And... do you like it?!!!

Yes, i`am sure of your idea, cropping the top away would make a even stronger composition,the sky just takes a lot of attention away from the main subject.Nice tones and curve by the way. Regards
