The composition is so busy, I don't know what's going on or what part to look at. The top left is too bright and distracting, the horse's ear in the lower right is also distracting. Maybe you should crop this more to direct the viewer's attention.

Max.I'm afraid you missed the point here-I.M.O.There are five main elements in this image;the horse's head, the other horse's ear, the clapping hands and the hat held by the man dancing. These elements form a cicular, clockwise composition and the viewer's attention is held within that central focus.I wanted to communicate the atmosphere and in particular the music ,the sounds; for which reason I included the horse's ear and the clapping hands. Not a lot I could do about the white area, top left, but I think the hat keeps the eye focussed in the central area and keeps it moving in the direction I intended in a circle that alternates dark and light tones. The subject of this photo was humour and it was the audience that I found amusing! The dancers were really quite secondary .

Hi, i think I agree with Tony here. I get a good sense of atmosphere, and also good job with the composition. The only thing I find distracting is the tree branch coming in on the left.
Looks like a fun event!
Cheers, Marc
