About Taken in downtown Seattle along 5th Avenue, approx. 2:38am sometime in summer of 2001. Activated shutter release cable with the shutter on bulb mode for approx. 5 seconds while approaching an intersection where there had been a motor vehicle accident just moments before (it appeared that someone may have run a red light; may have been alcohol-related, there appeared to be at least one injury). One emergency vehicle was at the scene. Please excuse my dirty windshield.

Cool! It appears to be a nice photo :-)

There's little I love taking more than through-the-windshield shots. This one's much more interesting than any of mine-- it looks as though you're going through a tunnel, instead of down an open avenue. Nice choice of shutter speed and b&w medium.

The only thing you might consider doing is making the rearview a solid black, a stronger shape of the light lines extending forward of the car. That would also help suggest that the car's hurtling out of darkness, perhaps giving the photo a bit more sinister feel.

quite unusual, interesting! Yes, this pic needs the explaination you give, but thehn it becomes clear and understandable; it's a tale made by light! regards - marco
