So much has already been said...

save for the fact that this is a joy to view...

Leslie Cohelan   {K:20887} 9/11/2003
The most important elements are captured well, the donkey, the children and the tracks...the background is a bit distracting with the sky blown out...but you have a good perspective with the tracks coming from the lower right...and I love the dappled sunlight on the tracks...your foreground color is pretty good...if it were my image I would probably try to correct the sky and background as I think you have captured a good mood in the foreground

Very, very good!! Love the scattered light in the strong forground. Good work! Cheers!

Kristina Kohut   {K:49990} 9/13/2003
A wonderful and original capture, with so nice and great mood! It might just be personal taste, but I think it would look even better with a bit of crop on top of image. And if you could add a little bit of light on their faces. I don't know if it's just my screen, but they feel a little bit to dark. But the capture is gorgeous!

Benedetto Riba   {K:15792} 9/13/2003

This is a successful photo taken under difficult circumstances. The brightness of the scene beyond and the shadows cast by your subject are too far apart to coexist peacefully on the same film! But despite the difficulties, it comes together to work very well. The over-bright sunlight speaks of the dizzying heat the donkey has plodded through, and the smile on the boy's face might be because at last they have reached the cooler shade! Anyway, I am sure the DONKEY was glad to reach the shade!

David Ziegert   {K:378} 10/7/2003
You did a great job conveying a sense of place in this shot. Love it!!
