Grainy and IMO not in good focus.

This imparts the feeling of a lonely hotel hall to me. It doesn't necessarily convey the mood of the title. Nothing like fast film and a 1.4 lens to have fun with! I like the light falloff at the bottom, giving a firm base to the image. A better approach to hand held at large aperture, which is good for a single subject without much depth, would be a tripod mounted camera and small aperture to render long dof with more of the features of the hall in focus. To really create interest in this type picture nothing would be better than to have a human figure included.
