About	First of all, thanks again to Chris Moore and Sean Slavin for their helpful suggestions in regards to my Velvia/camera speed dilemma. Some pics couldn't be saved, but this one turned out well, I think. Photo taken at Stanley Park in dappled shade. If anyone knows the name of this flower, I'd really like to know! PS work: slight burning of hotspots on the right side of the photo. Obviously, I can't get rid of the superhot burnout - does it look that bad?

It is surprising how vivid the colors of the flowers are given apparently dark surroundings. I like very much how the flowers pop out of the dark. Good use of this film.

I really like how they emerge from the darkness, such bright pinpoints of light. It's a shame that the bottom flower(the one that's fully open) isn't in focus, as it demands so much attention, being so much larger than the others, and being fully open. There seems to be a bit of a colour shift in the flower as well... not quite as purply/pink as the others.

With putting this film to the extreme I think this image worked out wonderfully and the lighting is spot on.
