I like it a lot. The colors and the photoshop bring out excellent the art deco sculpture. I put it on my favorites. Definitely I would put this work on the wall. Regards.

The cubism on this one is more subtle but just as effective. Wonderful image and "elaboration". Thanks so much for the explanation on the patterned lighting. I am PS-challenged and probably won't be able to do it but I love to read your technical descriptions. They make me think maybe I can...stay tuned for more Helen's Closet...I love the twist you added...but if this series is published does that mean I have to share royalties with you? :) Regards, Rhonda

This is for me the best of the last series. More than cubism it looks to me like a soft mosaic... wonderful, Jim!

Ronny Van Eeckhoutte   {K:12734} 9/10/2003

What can I say dear Jim. colors are wonderful, just as they should be for this kind of shoot. wonderful effects you have use. The subject is strange. I can see this is a decoration, and if you didnot add some colors would be so ordinary. well done, dear Jim. The fishes are distracting me. Oh, well good work, dear Friend. I have some unusual taste haha .. Kisses and Love to you, my dear wonderful Jim. Your Friend Biliana, and I am so sorry that I couldnot give you some useful comment on this one as you expect it. Regards.

Nice piece Jim. I like the warm colors you've been working in lately. This one has nice design, subjects, and composition, and I see you've applied your squarest technique to good effect. Overall just a really nice and pleasant work of art-- keep them coming. Cheers. Craig.

My thanks for the comments. After seeing what people wrote, and looking at this with fresh eyes, I decided that a simpler, less "elaborated" version is probably the best version. It's attached here. --Jim

Very beautiful Jim, I like the fish...make me think of koi with the colouration you have used. Could be a mosaic piece.

T L   {K:18928} 9/10/2003
Great work - colors and tone

Naty Z   {K:16486} 9/11/2003
Great warm colours!

Jim, I didn't understand very well your comment on my "To...". Is it good or bad? I mean, is the ant something that spoils the photo? Let me know please, when you have time. Thanks

Alina Steiner   {K:444} 9/11/2003
I like more the first image you posted. The 2nd one is too dark for me and not so warm anymore. Regards.

Mari Mar   {K:11417} 9/12/2003
Wonderful!! Great pic, nice composition. Remember Jim that if you're looking for fish that are truly good for you and your heart, you're looking for fish with lots of Omega-3 oils--that is, special polyunsaturated oils. Look no farther than sardines, herring, mackerel, Atlantic bluefish, tuna, salmon, pilchard, butterfish, and pompano.

Dave M   {K:9043} 9/14/2003
I am awestruck. 'nuff said.

Neil Shapiro   {K:2122} 9/22/2003
This is, I think, my favorite in your wonderful portfolio. Great work, and thanks for the fish :-)
