Fantastic shot - I agree completely with the comment about shadow detail - that detail is excellent. I'm curious - did you use a split ND filter for this? As great as that grand vista is, I think it's the framing on the left with the tree that really makes the shot perfect. Wonderful job - Bob T.

Yes Bob, I used a polarizer with the ND2 Grad for this photo. It would be impossible to capture the tonal range without one. The prints at 8x10 look so much sharper than the monitor can show. Easily looks like medium format. 11x14 looks even sharper! I'll have to get a 16x20 done.
