About This little girl threw rubbish down (that white spot). Then she looked up and saw that I saw her do it, and she got this face expression. I thought it looked so sweet and kind of innocent. I desaturated background and kept only the girl in colour.

Interesting capture. The girl bit too far to see the oops expression. But still a nice image. well done.

excellent momment

Jim McNitt   {K:11246} 9/16/2003
First of all, the perspective, looking down over the edge of a wall is very powerful. Secondly, I think selective color was a choice. Without the isolated splash of color, I the girl and her expression might have been lost. --Jim

Great point of view, it's one of my favorite, you really captured a nice and funny too moment, I like the curious and innocent expression of the little girl, furthermore the partial desaturation makes this shot very delicate and pleasant. Bye Max

I like that idea. Here another Kristina's style photo. I don't know hot to say but your shots are always some new. this is a nice shot also if the road is a bit overexposed. I tried something on this pic and the result was very nice (for my opinion) : I rotate the picture till the wall on the bottom was orizontal then I take the top-right rectangle till the 5th pole stars and cutting out the wall. hej då

Roberto Arcari Farinetti   {K:192044} 9/18/2003

Alex Uchôa   {K:18547} 9/18/2003
Diferent and very creative approach. The little children looking to the camera make all the diference in this shot.

Bob Tomerlin   {K:5460} 9/19/2003
Kriss - I really like this. A lot of times the B&W with the subject in color doesn't work, but it does here. Thanks for the story behind the photo.

BTW - I have a "Kriss shot" in my portfolio - called Snail Face - enjoy it!
