awesome photo my friend. I appreciate the subject of this photo because I have lived my short life in these types of fields. I'd like to discuss infrared film in depth with you sometime. simply beautiful image. regards- Dave

The infrared seems to work well for these images. The sky is stunning to say the least. However, I'm not sure about the composition you have here - the left side is quite busy. Most of the clouds are on the left, as are the haystacks and those little wooden constructions. The two haystacks in the distance, just to the left of the centre, have almost zero separation from the tree in the background, as does one of the haystacks on the right. This causes the individual elements to blend together in a rather chaotic manner.

i dont like IR, but this ... uf!

Federico Garcia-Maroto   {K:239} 9/23/2003
I arrive very late to comment your IR pictures. This is a very good compisition with a dramatic and appealing cloudy sky. Regards from Southeastern Spain.

usually i am not interesed in classical lanscape photography, however this piece is really strong emotive, full of story full of objects, full of clouds, .... comes to my favs ! good IR job, looking for soon meeting in Terchova....

John Hatziemmanouil   {K:40580} 9/27/2003
Just a PRO photo! The emotion of depth and perspective in the ground is so strong. As for the sky... simple perfect!

Silvia Festa   {K:5664} 3/30/2004
wow Rolf! I have to learn a lot looking your photos!

I am fast becoming a fan of infrared. It gives your image a surreal and desolate quality. The low lying clouds only add to the effect. Fantastic capture.
