Working on the different stages of flower growth?

If that is not the case, I would suggest you centralize the rose.

Thanks Arrey, I wanted to show the buds as well as the opening flower. I thought the arch of buds leading to the flower was nice.

I have just changed the coloured border - see what you think.

Hi Sarah, I think you have done a good job here, you have a good sharp image, and have used dof very well. Composition - I would suggest to try and fill the frame a little more when composing the shot.

Very nice photo Sarah.

The buds make me good and the Dof is great for me...

The rose is to light (my personnal opinion) but is due to sun...

I put this beauty in my favorites...

I like the DOF on this. I agree with Yvon in that the petals are a little to bright.
