About For whatever reason in the last couple of years I've found a fasination with dead, or dying things. This fly trap somehow makes me think of how easy it is to to get yourself stuck into a situation you DO NOT want to be in. And as hard as you might try, your gonig to end up with the rest at the bottom of the jar.

I've been watching your uploads here for a while, and I must say I find your work very interesting. This particular photo would be one of my favourites in your portfolio. The tones are fantastic, and are complemented nicely by the frame (which I've noticed in some of your other photos as well, but here it's spot on). The composition works very well for me. Last but certainly not least, this subject, while very simple, is one that I really haven't seen done before - my compliments on the originality. Keep up the good work.
