Interesting perspective here. I thought for a second you were one of those people who left the christmas lights up all year! New roof? Those 3 tabs look to be in good shape as does your masonry ;)

No Christmas lights Jeff, just the end of growing season for Morning Glory vines.

I was trying for the "Alisa" perspective, but didn't quite get it. The brick is recently tuckpointed, but the roof is about 12-15 years old.

Pretty much a test shot with this new digital, trying to learn what it can do. I'll get there sooner or later.

Thanks, Jeff.. {;-)

Nice texture study Stephen. I also like that you kept the colors strong but moderated. No need for a psychedelic assault on the viewer's senses. I also like how you played with the DOF to get the blur through the length of the railing. Very nicely done. Good to read your words, by the way. Hope all is well. Perhaps we can all gather for Christmas beverage in the next several weeks.
