The portrait is wonderful and I love the effect of the grain. The only small nit that I have to pick is that the picture frame in the background distracts.

Lovely composition, wonderful expression. The B&W treatment works well.
Minor suggestion: Crop to just a bit above the child's head. I agree with Ralph about the distracting picture in the background.

This is beautiful. Little girl looks so cute and grains make this even better. The pictureframe behind the girl bothers a little.
