Good idea... Maybe the subject could be more centered and the horizon line could be perfectly horizontal...

I like the point of view, in a literal and fisical way. Whites are a little burnt, perhaps overexposing due to scanning. Good work.

I think this composition is really fine. The asymmetry gives the composition an unexpected and welcome dynamic. Well done!

Tobiah,
I would level the horizon and move the subject more off center. Maybe even shoot it at a more rakish angle to exaggerate the features of the wall. Dodge the bottom of the wall a little and burn in the sky. Did you use and filters? If not, use a red one to separate the clouds more.

I like the subject and its position in the image. The horizon tilt is questionable, I'm not quite convinced that this angle is the best one. I agree with Chris about the suggested tonal adjustments, although the tonality in some places may have been negatively affected by what looks a bit like low quality digital compression.

Here is a new image that I've played with a bit... burned a little at the bottom of the rock, and leveled out the horizon and tweaked the contrast a little more.
I think I'm gonna put on the waterproof boots and get in a little closer and do some long exposure stuff in the evening or early morning with this spot... we'll see what happens.

Yeah, it'd be great if you could study this place with all sorts of different angles and lighting and speeds and skies.

I think if you did try this with a long exposure you would probably get a nice mist around the stone could look great could look poo either way have a go!
