Hi Debra; thatis is definitely an intimate portrait, and a good one. The toning is very nice and a beautiful young woman-- obviously very pregnant-- makes for a precious moment captured. Also, you've rated some of my photos from time to time, and I wanted to thank-you. Nice work. Cheers. Craig

Bjorn Beheydt   {K:12096} 10/3/2003
Very good photograph, good depth of field, very nice tones, and you show the beauty of her pregnancy very well. The only remark I have (a very small one) is her eye that is covered by her hair.

Yannic Meerbergen   {K:2990} 10/3/2003
Just excellent, Debra. The expression, the light and the background are perfect. The model is very pretty. The mood in the image shows a lot of intimacy. Very well planned and executed work.
Congratulations.

A wonderful photo Debra. I like the toning and composition...and the story of course.
Yesterday I saw a sequense from "The Wizard of Oz" and was stunned by the beautful sepia like tones in that film ( before she enters the dreamland)

Marcel Laurens   {K:3642} 10/3/2003
Excellent!! love the pose and the lighting!! the setting is also spectacular, but i'm not sure i like the background rock coming out of the middle of her head. not sure what options you had - maybe if it wasn't that dark...

Daniel S. Garcia   {K:13946} 10/3/2003

I'm so glad you commented on one of my pictures (thank you) because it encouraged me to visit your gallery, and I found so much to enjoy. This one is special! And now I see that although your photos are so very fresh and yourful in their touch, you have a grown up daughter and are shortly to be a grandmother if you aren't already! That makes you my contemporary... Technically, it is excellent, with a full range of delicately graduated tones from jet black to pure white, and with that beautiful duotone/sepia finish. A seriously beautiful portrait. Aha! I now see this is in the 97th percentile, and deservedly so!!

Kristina Kohut   {K:49990} 10/15/2003
