i love kitties:) but this photo is quite overexposed. and the focus is quite unfocused. did you use manual or automatic settings? try out the manual settings and try to get the exposure meter right in the middle. a little cropping of the left side might also help.

A little bit yes, but I wouldn't go straight to "quite overexposed" it's a rather shallow depth of field, hmmm I am working on my focus with that lense but Thomas is just that way - very unfocused looking, I'm working on it :)
