About Pembroke Castle. The largest in my county of Pembrokeshire, here in Wales. I used no filtration, and hand-held my camera. The 28mm end of my zoom was used.

So this is what Wales looks like without rain. Nice capture. It looks like you could have put a wider lens than 28mm to good use for this shot, though. Also I don't know where the sun was but a polarizer may have further strengthened that already nice blue sky.

You've done well to capture the whole castle, Sarah. As I remember it, it's not easy to get a viewpoint that allows a complete view. I like the grass in the foreground; maybe you could have included more to add to the depth of the image.

this is great.

I personally would crop the grass.
hey always carry your PL Filter. It could made this shot better. I used one this WE and it makes the sky very blue.
