Beautiful Colors!!!!

Philippe Frizé   {K:25} 10/6/2003
Amazing reflection, almost identical to the original. Very nice, dreamy light. And the horizon is... horizontal, contrary to what I thought first! Congratulations.

Wow, this is a beautiful photo Jan, great composition! In the stillness, the water has turned out like a sheet of glass and you have achieved very good symmetry with the reflection. I like the gentle light you have caught with the range of subtle hues. Even the surface of the foreground rock has caught some of the tone. A very different sky, but in some ways with a similar effect to the one I took on Loch Linnhe. www.usefilm.com/image/216518.html

Sorry to be picky but I don't know of any Loch Appin in Scotland. That looks a bit like Castle Stalker on the island to the right of your photo, in which case that would make this Loch Laich, which is near the village of Appin.

The hoizont line tilt 1.2, if it was not so I would have given it full point. I like the foto a lot, if I dont care i wouldent have help.

Jan Symank   {K:15755} 10/6/2003
Yes....Kaj Nielsen, you are right, the slide was tilted in the scanner. But there is hope: I will scan it again and I will come up with the updated version soon.
Thank you very much Kaj,
Jan Symank

Richard Marriner   {K:6657} 10/6/2003
I was going to mention it, but thought it must have been a scanning issue as is often the case with film posts here (and tripod shots are less likely to have been sloping from the start).

You can't get anything past Kaj, he's got a spirit level on his monitor! ;-)
