Interesting, she seems to be lacking a violin for starters. I don't think much of the pose she is in and the green tinge from the shoulders down makes her look rather sickly.

I think she's much better looking with long hair, as opposed to the short, spiky style she sported for a while. But Dwight, what's the deal with the change of skin tone at the shoulders?

yea.. i probably should have worked on this before posting it.. I pulled it off my website.. and I did my website in a hurry.. so the scan was probably messed up... there are alot of flaws with this print.. but what I like about the photo is the emotion... she was really lovely... thanks Dwight

I didnt notice the green tinge.. i'm a little color blind.. but jamie.. the comment about lacking a violin? If you shoot a writer.. do they have to have a book or a laptop on their person.. ? Maybe I just titled it wrong.. I should have posted who it was.. anyway.. thanks for your comments.. I'll repost thhis when I rescan it and correct all the imperfections... D :)

I guess the scaning deffects are beside the point, here. I just love the pose of her hands...and the expression adds an artistic mood... :)

lovely shot! glad you didn't give "vanessa mae" as a title. :-)
can't see why the hell you should have included a violin in the photo, that's a very childish remark, but there you go.
also, i don't think you should do anything to this photo to make it look "better"
it's spontaneous, fresh, honest, just right
