Nice shot, Bob, but it doesn't seem sharp.
I'm wondering what resolution you're scanning it and whether the original print is fairly new?
Regards, Chris.

This is a nice shot of a scenic view in one of my favorite states for photography. Regards, Allen

Chris, this is a new slide but my scanner may need some attention. I did sharpen the image with PS7.

An excellent landscape with great colours.
Regrads, Hayri.

Bob,

The new image with your new scanner is better but the slide needs help to start with. You?re losing detail in the foreground that you could correct with the use of a ND grad filter. Place that over the top of the mountain and spot meter the foreground you can have detail in both. Also you needed to shoot this at f11 or f16 for more DOF, use a tripod or something to support the camera. There is little room for error with Velvia so you need to get the exposure correct. The framing and composition is good.

Lovely fall colors. Looks like it is near Maroon Bells????. Very pretty country. Don.
