Your photos make me think you live in a more beautiful parallel universe somewhere. Certainly not the England I've seen. Very good sense for finishing these pictures in PS too.

Vlad P.   {K:1477} 10/9/2003
Very nice composition, pleasant color combination, excellent DOF.

Jim McNitt   {K:11246} 10/9/2003
Great composition, incredible detail and color saturation. The thing that always worries me about the beach is that I WILL inadvertently carry some sand away -- inside my camera. --Jim

Chris; me being a retired soil scientist, I can appreciate this in a way that most probably don't. Well composed and exposed, I see Limestone and Dolomite and those rocks developing into soils. And of course the "White Cliffs of Dover" are famous. Are these anywhere near them?

Rafal K. Komierowski   {K:6441} 10/9/2003
Hi Chris, you have captured an awesome scene. Composition is just perfect and tones are gentle at the same time dramatic. Wonderful work. Thank you for your comments and visit. Regards, Rafal

Chris-- still like this image. I have a request. On my recent ship image, I left the Ratings Box turned on and got a "1" on lighting, but don't think it was deserved-- and maybe now think it was a mistake. I'd appreciate it if you'd take a look at it and comment/rate it. It seems I miss the "excitement" of the Rating system, so I think I'll go back to using it. Oddly, you and I have the same "Charisma" points-- that's cool w/ me as I consider your photos consistently excellent. Thanks, and Cheers. Craig

Lovely landscape Chris. Very well composed, the water is a wonderful colour.
Alum used to be put on nail-biters fingertips to discourage the practise. I think my poor brother was so treated!

Regarding Barry...he and is wife(a Kiwi) have been friends for about 12 years. I will let him know you took over his role! He'll get a kick out of that. He is semi-retired but hard to stop completely, he so loves performing and witnessing. He's a real genuine teddybear of a man.:)
