Very nice. It looks like a painting to me. I like the lazy flow of the land with the early morning shadows and mist. Good job!

John Charlton   {K:5595} 9/5/2002
Very cool Chris. I think the colours would stand out even better if you added a hairline black border on this.

Dawna G.    {K:7709} 9/5/2002
beautiful image Chris! I love the combination of soft colors, light and soft shadows and fog.

Kim Culbert   {K:37013} 9/5/2002
This does have lovely lighting and nice soft colours in which would be seen in a picture. Nice job capturing it and making it relate to the film.

Kim Culbert   {K:37013} 9/5/2002
Silly me, I meant as one would see in a painting.

Kevin Lanthier   {K:5204} 9/5/2002
Mmmm... Fog.

I like the composition, actually, the rolling feel across the wide frame. And, of course, the shadows and light beams which give the interesting subtle colour contrasts.

ahhhh...I like the border addition John...thanks for the suggestion.

Thanks for commenting and viewing everyone:)

Very nice Chris. Looks like a fire going on in the background. Smoky. Cool colors

Hi Chris,

Very dreamy. What film were you using for this shot? Any filters?

Debi

Chris Whaley   {K:3844} 10/10/2002
HI Debi....no filters....just caught the sun coming up on a foggy morning. Film ws fuji superia 400. I bumped it maybe 5% on the saturation in my photo editor.

YOu are what I called a "Master" of Photography !

How did you make this Chef d'Oeuvre ?

1 000 000 felicitations !!!!

Drecci.

Chris Whaley   {K:3844} 3/1/2003
Thank you very much Drecci...just look for the shots worth taking.

Even if i am a photographer (?!) sometimes i think it's a sin to reduce certain nature miracles to a photo, probably this was one of these cases.
The photo is a dream, i can't imagine the real landscape.

Masha Dikosavljevic   {K:1117} 7/7/2003
THis is such a superb photography! I simply can not undestand such low overall marks.
Keep it up.
