Love the way the eyes are so expresive

Beautiful young lady!

MaryBell    {K:32791} 10/11/2003
Beautiful straight forward portrait - just the right amount of light across her face.

Matej Maceas   {K:24381} 10/12/2003
Nice expression suggesting she is very comfortable with having her photos taken. Good choice of background, unobtrusive yet giving a sense of location, and the flowers go well with the floral pattern on her t-shirt. Overall a very nice portrait.

Now onto what I see as problematic issues, some more important than others. The catchlight in her right eye is much, much stronger than that in her left eye. I think that more balance would be in order here. Compositionally, I find the bottom area of the photo somewhat heavy - this could be caused by the tight crop on her arms, but maybe also by the difference in the darker skin tones and the very bright t-shirt. Which brings me to the final point, that the t-shirt seems way too bright and could use some burning.

Perfect shot, Pat!! Regards, Leo.

The light's not perfect, but this is a simply beautiful portrait. Great sepia toning. Regards..:)
