Great composition, simpllistic beauty in all it glory. Love the off-kilter, amkes me want to see more of her. The model is perfect for this shot. Wonderful!

I like the lighting, and composition. Great shot. You wanted useful comments.. the only thing I noticed, is the chair. It would probably look better with a different chair, or no chair at all.

Antonio: I used available light plus a 420 EX that I bounced off the wall, didn't want hard light on her face.

Spencer: Thanks, you are right, I see the point about the chair. It would have been better with a diffuse background. I'll try to do this outdoors or in another setting.

I've had this open in a browser window for sometime. My first reaction was to not like the composition, but I've grown to like it more. Its almost as though she's peaking around the edge of the frame vs being cut off. Her expression, posture and form make this image. Excellent lighting and thanks for explaining how you achieved that.
