I like this picture, it's really good, I like the monotone color. I do dislike the dutch flag being so apparent in the picture, and really, that has nothing to do with me being Flemmish ;-) I also think that there is room for improvement in the composition/point of view, but I would not be able to tell you how, it would be a matter of trial and error.

I tried to point out the results of war. You see the killer and the killed. The killed once killers themselves. Maybe not by their own choice. And all in the glory of the nation. See the flag. That's why I put the flag in colour. Europe is full of military cemetaries. Recent European history is written in blood. We're all friends now :-))).
It's the French flag by the way. :-)), not the Dutch. That fact may be even worse for you, being Flemish. "Et pout les Flamants le meme chose". The cemetary is a French World War I military cemetary in the Alsace.
