About Once in a while I like to pull out a golden Memory when Photography was new to me and a lot of fun indeed. (It still is-world's oldest teenager)
This is a photograph taken in 1979, accidentally over developed. But got interesting photo of extremely hot "low country heat" and an upcoming storm. 7x9 original size. Printed on Ilford paper and mounted on 11x14 archival mount.

Interesting choice to have the wave coming in level instead of the horizon. I think it works pretty well. Could you explain about the overdevelopment, I'm not sure I understand the bit about the hot water. Did you make the chemical solutions too warm without adjusting development time, or was it something else?

I've just found your portfolio and have enjoyed it all trmendously. I'm from Shreveport, La. originally and now in Va. I'm trying my hand at photography again after many years have gone by with no camera in hand. I'm doing digital ( though not an expensive one) and have my old relics...3 old yashica dinosaurs and my ricoh TLS which I still love. I'd appreciate any critiques or advice you could offer. Sincerely, Rebecca.
