I do like the contrast of colors between the road and sky. I would also try to delete the trash on the tracks. I find myself actually picking up trash before shooting a location too often.

a good point, i'll clone the distractions out today before i print it, thanks

Well seen Terrence. I like the light, the clouds, the color in the sky. The tracks lead you into the middle of the photo.

terrence, you have recently commented on one of my photos...and i wanted to ask you a question. ok, yes the sync on my camera is 1/90 and i was wondering, if i got a new flash, would i be able to have a faster shutter speed? ive been wondering that...cus i only have the on-board flash on there...i want to get one with a cable release.

well back to this photo...i really enjoy the lines of the tracks and the overpass bridge...the only thing i dont particulary like about this is on the far right side where the gravel turns into like a road maybe...or whatever that is... none the less, great eye

thx jake, and unfortunately the answer to your flash question is - no, on your particular camera body the sync speed is 1/90th/sec or lower regardless of what flash is used, but this shouldn't really be much of a problem (ie i certainly wouldnt run out and buy a camera with a faster sync speed)
