About This is a part of a small vintage airplane, a Taylorcraft. I shot down looking at the wing struts and the wheel fairing below that. Taken at Lee Airport in Edgewater, MD.

Nice shot. You captured the color and the detail quite nicely. You seem to capture parts of what we normally view as a while quite effectively.

That's a nice contrast of smooth and texture! Even Brad said you find mundane things and make them look great! That's my pop!

This is a real eye catcher!! Fantastic colours and details, and the contrast between smooth and rough textures has a very good effect; very well composed, too ~ great shot!!
Best Regards and have a nice time * :)

Steve, this is superb, the colour contrast and the light, exposure, etc spot on, but it's your eye and composition which makes the image and the water on the metal and ground pings the photo to life.
A favourite for me.
Oh, and thanks for the great comment about 'Little Wonder'.

Wauw, really really nice and interresting!

A very different view of this aircraft, wing struts and wheels anyway. Very saturated and definitely eye catching.

Very nice steve!!
Great Details!

Excellent abstract. The limited color range is very effective, and the orange is vivid against the black. The water drops add a dynamic element to the composition.

Very beautiful image -- without your explanation it could have been anything?? One of my favorite abstracts...K

Gustavo Eulalio   {K:3774} 6/28/2004
The contrast of colors here is very interesting, Steve. Congrats.

I love this shot, I am an aerogeek, but wow this shot is a wonder abstract. This is a scene that many would never have even seen, let alone even photograph. Superb sharpness, great colour saturation. There may be a touch too much post shooting sharpnening as I see just a hint of edge artifacts, but they don't degrad the image for me to downgrade my score based on impact.
