About I had been in this nondescript classroom dozens of times when one evening, I noticed the how mostly-textured windows transformed the very ordinary scene outside.

not one comment?? this site can piss me off sometimes. sunsets and babies and boobs are the crowdpleasers i guess. i think this is a fantastic shot. i'd have cropped tighter around the window, but great eye to catch this.

Todd - thanks very much! Now that I have a "better" camera (6MP digital SLR), I'm going to reshoot this one once it gets light enough outside around 6:45pm or so. I'd like to make an 11x14 of this one, and the 2MP image just won't do for that.

Such a beautiful image!!! I don't understand that there are not more comments on this... :(
Excellent soft lighting and colours, very nice atmosphere and wonderful details :) The only suggestion is, to crop more from the top: either to the next batton below, for the cut upper part is distracting imo, or even more to the top of the next one... this would be a different view, but would work also I think...
Anyway a very beautiful shot. I like this a lot!! :)
