About These begonias were hanging in a basket on a deep, dark porch on a deep, dark rainy morning. I like the result with just the natural light, but I'm wondering if I could have done anything to improve it. I was on a tour at the time, so I had no access to artificial light (didn't have a flash either), but would a bounce card have helped? Where should I have put one? Behind the plant? Thoughts and criticisms appreciated! :)

Becky, I like it as it is. I like the fact that the background is dark, and that the main flower is light. I wouldn't have used any artificial light myself.

Thanks Sarah. I think I'm so obsessed with learning tricks to improve my photography that I'm forgetting a "laissez faire" approach sometimes works too! :)

to be honest i really like it the way it is now. You might have done something spectacular with flowers, articial lights and studio settings but that would not look so cool and natural as it looks now. plus a great composition and perfect depth of field. compliments!
