Sometimes a straight photograph isn't true to what the photographer is trying to communicate. What's been done here is a lot more eloquent and precise towards that vision. I think that's why certain cameras like the Holga or Polaroids do well in some instances. I'm just enjoying the distortion of colors, and I think there's some image distortion here too, which I like. // I compliment you on going your own way in photography. It isn't going to get you a lot of comments or points or popularity, but you will be intact as an artist. If you get one comment or forty comments, what does it all boil down to? As long as you evaluate each piece and feel that conviction that it belongs in your body of work, it doesn't matter if no one looks at it.

i gave mr. ppdix one other photo recently in which he put into his portfollio..
this is a self portrait in which he added his charms..
i think i was fair in posting this photo in my portfollio because i took the photo..
and also gave credit where credit is due..
(much credit i would like to add) :))
so to say
if i hadn;t taken the photo it would not have existed
if mr. ppdx hadn;t have added his charm
it would not have been so unique..collarborative effort..i am in a band and collaboaration is everything in that for instance...
my birthday is jan 29
good arguement..

This is a very bold image, and I don't care who else had a hand in it (but I think ppdix's choice of coloring adds a whole other level to the benefit of this image). Thanks you for your "bravery" and posting it. It sends little electric shivers up and down my spine and I don't even care that it's another woman I'm looking at. I like the thrill it gives me, and if an image (even if it's technically perfectly executed) doesn't move you in some way, then it's CRAP. This image puts me at the edge of my seat. You gotta ask yourself, what is the purpose of art? It's a question we all have to answer for ourselves; but for me, it's not about safe, pretty pictures of lakes, trees and sunsets. It's about this girl and that tongue and the lazy look in her eyes and yes(!) - about me and my deepest wish that my tongue could be that long. It's not! I can barely get mine past my lips!
You see Sandy? That's what art is about. It's not about cold-hearted, esthetic conceptualizations. It's about making people dream. And this image makes me dream - a lot!!
Good work. Keep shooting.

I don't post any photography here, I'm just a friend of sandy's who asked me to come over for a look. I have to say though, that this photo really is a work of art. I like the quarter circles of colour mixed into the bridge of the nose, and of course, sandy is as hot as coals of hell ;)
I like her work a lot as well, I think I kinda understand all of it.
It's good work kids, I've had a look around and I like loads of what I see.

I've been reluctant to comment on this photo since it seems like half the guys who see it are looking for your phone number! But I do find myself returning to it each time I browse your potfolio. I suppose this is somewhat due to that fact that it's quite sexy, but I think it's more the spontaneity and candor of the shot that makes it stand out. Like many of your shots, it shows your willingness to bare your soul to the camera, which takes a lot of courage. Keep it up.
